Padang's airport is the main gate to West Sumatra. Padang is about 2 hours
drive to Bukittinggi. Flights are available from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur,
or via Jakarta or other cities in Indonesia.
By Sea
Teluk Bayur is the sea harbor of West Sumatra, 15 km from Padang. Sea
travel can be arranged from Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia.
By Land
Bukittinggi can be reached from North, South or East part of Sumatra island
by car. Travel via Trans Sumatra highway although long will pay off with
the scenic panorama.
