Operations Research on the Web

Operations Research on the Web

To learn more about Operations Research, "The Science of Better", visit here. There is a large amount of additional material related to Operations Research on the Web. Below are some references that I sometimes use.

INFORMS, the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences, has created INFORMS Online. Mike Trick of Carnegie Mellon University has put together and then donated to INFORMS a great Operations Research Resource Page. John Gregory, and now Bob Fourer, have put together some nice FAQ's on Linear Programming and Nonlinear Programming. Steve Wright maintains a page on Interior Point Methods . The Special Interest Group in Optimization in Germany organizes OptNet. The Optimization Software Guide is a guide to optimization software. Harvey Greenberg has a mathematical programming glossary.

For people looking for the multicommodity flow data sets that were used in the paper by Jones, Lustig, Farvolden and Powell, see this ftp site.
