Irvine is my favorite character in Final Fantasy 8. for many reasons.Other than when he is having a nervous breakdown due to fear of failure and rejection by friends. He has a cool and calm attitude. He acts like he knows something that everyone else doesn't, which is true for the first two discs. He was the only person in your party to remember that you were raised together and that you had been friends since you were little. He has been training with the gun for all the time he has been at Galbadia Garden and is extremely proficient with it, having 150% confidence in himself and shooting just as well until it truly matters. He is a true lady's man (to himself at least) and tries to get any girl that is even the slightest bit hot to go out with him by proclaiming his complete and total love to them. He usually ends up rejected and to cover up for this he lies and says that everyone hates him and he is a true loner so that he can get sympathy. Another proving fact is that the main character Squall who is a loner, lonewolf, hermit-personality type person who hates and makes mental or outloud comments about anything or anyone he does not like never says or thinks anything bad about Irvine (though one time Irvine is afraid that if he messes up Squall will be furious and hate him. Two possible reason are that Squall respects his sometimes loner outlook on life and the other is that THE ULTIMATE IRVINE KINNEAS( HAHAHAHA) is too breathtaking and unbelievable to comprehend or rival (but maybe a certain sailor scout* and a certain Turk* might do the trick)*. He remebers from when he was a kid that his best friend was Selphie but today she is his girlfriend. Of course Irvine deserves better than that MORON. If he has to have her then he should get Quistis and Rinoa as well. Dont tell me that it is illegal because IRVINE IS ABOVE THE LAW!
His special skill is shot in which you choose a certain ammo and he shoots it as fast as you can press R1. Depending on what ammo you are using he will shoot faster or slower and weaker and stronger respectively. Here are the ammos:
Normal ammo=Fires at a decent rate average damage
Quick ammo=Fires really fast and you can't press R1 fast enough weak damage
Spread ammo= Hits all enemies average damage
Fire ammo=Burns up the enemy really strong also very slow DO NOT USE ON FIRE ENEMIES
AP ammo= Really strong for acual bullets instead of grenades AP stands for armor piercing kind of slow
Dark ammo=Regular damage and speed Inflicts random status effects
Explosive ammo= Really strong and really slow
Pulse ammo=SUPER STRONG SUPER COOL AND SUPER SLOW strongest ammo in the game |
