Performance Classes


In this exciting, interactive course, in association with City of Irvine and the Irvine Repertory Theater, students will stage professional productions in state-of-the-theaters in Orange County.

Students will perform in a play while learning all areas of acting including characterization, taking direction, physicalizing a role, vocal development, as well as gaining poise and self-confidence in performing in front of the public. They will also learn all areas of the "backstage" workings of a play. Performances, which will be on a state-of-the-art, Broadway-sized stage
Past classes have performed Storybook Theatre, It's a Wonderful Life, M*A*S*H, Get Smart, and Robin Hood.

Numerous male and female roles are available. Adults and teens are welcome. Auditions usually are comprised of a cold reading from the play with callbacks dates to be announced.  This is a fee based program.  For more information, call (949)-936-7454.


Robert Michael Conrad
, has directed numerous award-winning productions over the past 15 years. Mr. Conrad holds a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Theater Arts and teaches acting and theater at several Orange County colleges and directs the cable soap-opera Heartbreak Cafe.

Mr. Conrad has worked with Tim Russ (Star Trek: Voyager), Claudia Christensen (Babylon 5), Walter Koeing (Star Trek) and other notable actors.
