We explored the areas close to Grantown and Inverness before leaving for Edinburgh. There we started our stay by watching the military bands from around the world perform at Tattoo. Impressive! While Scotty was in meetings, Carol and Jean toured the city and shopped. On Friday, Jean left for home and we toured Edinburgh further. Then off to the Falkirk wheel where we watched in amazement as it lifted boats from one canal up/down to another canal with the use of very little energy. We stopped in Glasgow before arriving in Irving. Touring and laundry is scheduled for our stay.
