Distinquishing trait:A black hole in his hand that can suck in anything, but will eventually kill him. It was caused by the demon Naraku, and Miroku has vowed to search for him and kill him, ending the curse.

Short Biography/Explaination

Miroku's father and his father were both consumed by the curse that Naraku set on them. He travels with Kagome and Inuyasha to find the demon, but this is one of the only reasons he does so. Miroku's place in Inuyasha is debatable, because it is very difficult to tell if he is a good character or a bad character. He travels with the main characters, but it is only because they are seeking Naraku too. He is a preist, but he lies, cheats and steals from people. He flirts with woman, but his main reason for this is he wants an heir before he dies. Even though he isn't a very good preist, he wants to protect people from harm and closes his wind tunnel when Kagome gets in it's path, and he falls in love with Sango. I'm not quiete sure if he is a good character myself. Maybe he lies in sort of undefined grey area.
