Hold my hand

You hold my hand,
And navigate across a minefield,
You hold my hand,
And levitate across the sea.
You hold my hand,
And reach the summit of a mountain,
You can do anything if you're with me.

I take your hand,
And gain love and understanding,
I take your hand,
And find the strength I lost before.
I take your hand,
And like a flash my life has meaning,
I'll never be wanting for anything,

Forever more
Without You II

Existing without you,
Wouldn't be living at all.
It would just be a shadow
Of my previous life,
And I'd be an echo,
Of the girl I was before.

I'd be a nonentity without you,
Disarmed of joy and wit.
Disaffected with this life,
So I'd live on the edge of it.
I'd have no purpose,
My existence shapeless and nondescript.
Selfish Intentions

I could be much more for you,
I'm her obtuse, her inverse,
I know it's true.
I could be much more to you.
Love You

If I cried in the night,
You wouldn't hear me.
I stand in front of you now,
Tears down my face,
But you don't believe it.
Everyone thinks you care,
But I know different.
Use me when you need it,
When no-one else wants you,
Only then take my friendship.
And if you ever say,
That you are sorry,
I couldn't believe you,
Because you didn't trust in me,
When I said I love you.
Audition

Knees tremble, and eyes run,
Stomach aches, it's just begun.
Walk the boards, take the stage,
Room is blurry, lost the page!
Try to sing, splutter, wheeze,
Director shouts: "Next please!"
Audition over, lost the part,
Made a fool, in the name of art.
