Hi there. Just a few words about Keystone Steel and Wire in Bartonville IL. You'd think that with the way the local economy depends on the income generated by this plant, that you'd see alot more of our product around here than anywhere else. This doesn't seem to be the case. I don't know if people in the area are even aware of the products we offer. You'd think the state and local governments would jump right in and start purchasing more of our products, since they have so much at stake. Again, this doesn't seem to be the case. This is just a local version of a national problem. Plants closing, jobs going overseas, it all boils down to this:MADE IN USA doesn't mean squat to most consumers these days. People fail to realize that by spending a few dollars more for an American made product helps secure our jobs and ultimately our economy. We DO need help from the federal government to put an end to foreign steel dumping. Hopefully this November we'll get a president that actually cares about us. It is time for us as Americans to put an end to this. If we all stick together and buy American made products and boycott the traveling factories (Maytag,Radio Flyer) companies WILL think twice before moving out of the country.
