Chalk-like Candy Given To All!

An Army of Plastic People Showed Up.

Flashlight needed in late night rumble.

By Ben Lasher

Jon won his own event, Rick took second, Steve took third, Mike stepped
in dog poo, and Brandon didn't get any points! All that and every one got
Pez! The winner took home Pez dispensers: Garfield, Spiderman, and Leonardo
of the Ninja Turtles for those who care

The event started late in the day (7:30 p.m.) and didn't end until 10:00
p.m.! A flashlight was used, as well as some high powered deck lights to
light the field.

Rick, in his first I.M.C. Tournament, took second! He had this to say,
"I'm glad I snatched second!" Riveting!

Jon's course was a difficult one, with many shots requiring players to
use the 12 shot rule to get though them. Jon apologized for the course,
"The course kinda sucked." But we forgive him, since this was the first
tourney on his course. And he gave us a barbeque and Pez.

Mike summed up the whole tourney with these words of wisdom, "I may not
have won a Pez dispenser, but I got dog poo on my shoes."

Prepare for all day Croquet action!
What is Sports day?

By Brandon Lasher

Holidays are the backbone of American society. The nation works hard and
deserves a holiday every two weeks or so! That is why the card industry
has been working hard to give Americans more holidays to celebrate. The
card industry makes these holidays for no benefit of their own. But one
month has been forgotten. There are no holidays in August!

Why in August, the hottest month of the year, do we not get a day off?
That is why last year Ben and I decided it was time for Americans to get
a holiday in August. That is why the last Saturday in August ( you would
get Friday off) is now known as Sports Day.

What better hobby to deserve a holiday than Sports. Americans already
care more about sports then politics, health care, their community, and
education so why not celebrate it! Maybe one day the world will come
together in world peace playing Ironman Croquet but that is a while off.

So give your loved ones and friends a sports related gift, watch
sporting events on television, and go outside and play sports this
Saturday at 10 a.m. at Nathan's house. It is time sports gets the attention
it so richly deserves!

Have a happy Sports Day everyone!
