Brandon takes it all in first major.
By Ben LasherBrandon stunned the Croquet world by winning the Orange Shirt Classic. It was three rounds of grueling Ironman Croquet, on a unusually hot Oregon day. Brandon was in first by the end of the first round, with Steve and Jon, 2nd and 3rd respectively. Jon took the second round, Ben took 2nd, Steve 3rd. In the third round, Mike easily took first, Brandon 2nd, and Ben got 3rd.
Steve blamed poor play on Jon's second round sabotage of Steve's game. "Brandon payed him off with pizza and drink!" Steve ranted. The pizza couldn't be reached for comment.
Brandon had this to say, "My dark apprentice, Darth Crawford, proved his worthiness. If a movie is ever made, he'll get three lines, and get cut in half by Ewan McGregor." George Lucas could not be reached for comment.
Jon also couldn't comment because not enough lines were allowed, due to the increase in Jar Jar's part.
But all kidding aside, it was a tense game. Most matches came down to the last shot for placing. Steve and Jon even had a playoff to decide third place. Jon desperate attempt to sabotage Steve in this, caused Steve to walk away with the Bronze, or in this case a Pokemon tape(don't ask). Ben took second.(Yeah, Whooo Hooo!)
We would like to thank all for attending, and I hope all had fun. This was Amy's first I.M.C. game in quite some time, so we hope she will continue to show to fill our quota. Otherwise, it will be an all-male league and that ain't cool.

The Spam Classic is 12PM, June 26. Mike will try to continue his quest for the Spam triple crown. We hope all can attend, even Jon who will be going in for knee surgery June 14. Get well soon Jon. The rest of you have no excuse, except Amy who may be working and Scott who is in California, but that's his own fault!
