I have been working on this game for about 7 months in school. It is far from complete, but I have decided to stop programming this game and I have moved onto another. It is a very fun same computer multiplayer-only game. After a few name changes, I finally stuck with Sumasshu. Unfortunately, I left the name "Jumpman" on the title screen and I can't go back and edit it now for stupid reasons not worth mentioning. :) Because I don't have a full version of VC++, it has the disclaimer at the beginning. I hope I don't get in trouble for distributing it because I'm not making any money off of it anyways. ;)

I had plans to add a lot more powerups, networking (I was half way through networking when I stopped), and sound. I also wanted to make the controls customizable, and make the load/save level more user friendly. Maybe once I'm finished with my new game, I'll go back and finish this one.

Feel free to distribute this game to your friends. Any questions or comments, email me at ironfistfaqs@yahoo.com .

2. How to Play:
---------------
The first thing to do is move your character to the right side of the "Play" sign. One of the people playing can either go over to "Normal" or "Racing" once everyone who is playing is past the "Play" sign.

Once you do this, you will be taken to a setup menu. From here, you can adjust any setting you want. I think everything there is self explanatory.

The object of the game is to get 10 stars (or however many you set it to). You get stars by running into them. You can knock stars out of your enemies by jumping on their heads. You can also hit the block underneath your opponent to knock a star out of them. It is very simple, yet it is very fun.

3. Special moves:
-----------------
While playing, there are special moves you can do that are essential for victory. They are listed below:

Wall Jump:
After you jump into the air, and when you hit a wall, you can jump off of it and jump even higher. To do this, hold up, and when you hit the wall, press the direction you want to jump to -- either left or right. You can jump back and forth between walls to get to higher areas.

Pick up Block:
This is what the action button is for. When you are on a liftable block, hold Down and tap your Action button. This will pick the block up.

Throw block:
While holding a block, hold a direction other than Down and press the Action button again. This will throw the block. An airborne block does serious damage to your opponent.

Turbo Jump:
While holding a block and while on the ground, hold Down and press Action. This will make you jump very high.

4. The power ups:
----------------
There are a lot of power ups that you can get in this game. Some make you run very fast, some make you jump very high, others knock out all of your opponents stars. Another turns you into a Hulk-like creature that steals two stars instead of one and knocks the opponent away when they try to jump on you. Because I never finished this, the animation for the Hulk looks really bad. Experiment with them to find out what all of them do.

5. Level Editor:
----------------
One great thing about this game is the level editor. Go to EDIT on the title screen to go to the level editor. Press F1 when in the level editor for a help screen that tells you how to use it. The levels are case sensitive, so make sure you remember exactly what you named the levels you make. When loading up a level, you must save the level as a different name because it does not get rid of the old level when you save it as the same name. If you want to delete any level, just open the levels.iro in a text program (notepad works fine) and delete the level and the data after the level.

6. Other:
---------
On the title screen, there is a Setup thing that you can go to. In there is a frame rate changer, a max particles changer (for the slower computers out there), and other stuff that doesn't really do much. :) I just thought I'd let you know. :)

Thank you for playing Sumasshu!
