COMMENTARY:
Payaso is a beautiful dark grey spirited Andalusian mare. She is very baroque in conformation and sometimes looks like a stallion when she moves. I have owned Payaso only a short time so i am still trying to label her personality. At the moment she is very spirited and full of energy. She is boss mare in the paddock but is not unkind to any of the other mares. On the ground Payaso can either be very laid back or a big hand full. Payaso enjoys life and is not afraid to kick up her heels at any time. One thing about this mare is she seems to act according to the people around her. For instance she is very calm and gentle around kids, but is a high spirited and lively around handlers and exercise riders. Its amazing to see this lovely mare around kids as she is very gentle and even takes them for rides. Payaso is alittle spooky undersaddle and likes to play buck when shes feeling good. Payaso is usually very willing to learning but she is spacey so she needs to be entertained and kept on track at all times. I was told that this lovely mare has been trained in english pleasure, hunter pleasure, and hunt seat equitation but Payaso moves so beautifully that i think i will train her in dressage. I believe that she will do well in the disciplne because it will be a challenge for her and i assume Payaso loves challenges. I will also most likely use Payaso as a broodmare and believe she will produce amazing foals when breed to the right stallion.
