Notice: I stopped working on this project a few years ago for various reasons. However, I will still keep my working chapters here for posterity.

Neverland: A novella by Marcel Votlucka

"To think of such things happening here in America…it's horrifying…Your writing is completely enthralling."

"Extraordinary. I've no other word to describe this. And of course--as it was meant to--it can't help but resonate so loudly with current events."

"Terrorism is an awful thing, but when does legislation to prevent it go too far? As an American Muslim convert, I do love this country, but I can see that this could be a possible outcome of the laws that are being passed now."

"It might have happened in the past, but the way the world is now--no way."

"People here don't see Arabs and Arab-Americans as human beings…. You have slapped us all across the face with the horrible truth."

These are a few examples of reader responses to Neverland: Voices From the Muslim Holocaust. Together, they give an impression of the controversy surrounding this work. Concieved in 2003 in the midst of the Iraq War, I penned this collection of short stories in the hope that it would not prove prophetic. And yet the seeds for the atrocities that fill these pages are being sown now, nurtured by a corrupt government, a lazy media, and a public lulled into a false sense of security. The following is an account of the beginnings of a modern-day holocaust aimed at Arabs, Muslims, and immigrants, as the "War on Terror" takes a brutal new turn in the advent of several awful terrorist attacks. Yet while it is fictional, some of this has happened in the past and even in our present. Will our future hold this in store for us? Read onward, and experience this chilling narrative for yourself.
