Masaharu Morimoto

Born on May 26th 1955 in Hiroshima.

Japanese Chef and the third -- after Michiba Rukusaburo-( first Japanese Chef) then
Nakamura koumei-( second Japanese Chef).

He is different than the other Japanese Chefs in the way that he spent most of Culinary career in the United States.

While in a battle he is often known as the "hunky" Iron Chef.

Morimoto was the Head Chef of the restarant
Nobu in NYC, since November 2000 he has retired and is working on opening his own restaurant in Philadalphia.
