| Highlights / Accomplishments: After graduation, I went to USC & got a B.A. & Masters degree. I moved to Charleston after I got a job as a media specialist in an elementary school where I worked for 7 years. In 1992 I married Jim Deavor. Jim's a chemistry professor a the College of Charleston. Jim & I made two trips to Russia where we adopted our children. In 1998 we went to Ryazan (a 3-hour drive from Moscow) where we adopted our son Luke right before his first birthday. Last summer we went to the far east of Russia in Khabarovsk (7 time zones east of Moscow & in Asia) where we adopted our daughter, Grace. Currently, I am enjoying being a stay-at-home mom with our two active pre-schoolers. |
