I am a registered nurse - needless to say my hours are crazy - work weekends and holidays - Mark is the most awesome dad. I have people ask me who "babysits" my kids while I'm at work, I say, "No one - their daddy is home with them". Mark never complains about the crazy days - practices, games, girlscouts, homework until the wee hours - and oh yeah, the projects!! He is an incredibly patient dad with our kids and anybody else's (maybe not as patient with ours!). I love to watch him on the ball field - he drops down to their level - eyes locked and focused, and then a pat on the back to get them going on their way. Mark was fairly shy in High School and college at the Citadel. He's grown into a wonderful dad & husband! |
