Brugmansia's have quickly become my favorite tropical bloomer. They are greatly rewarding. They have huge blossoms, up to 20 inches in length, that come in an array of colors, including; pink, yellow, orange, red, and white. They can bloom hundreds of flowers at a time. Typically they grow from 4-10 feet tall and can be easily grown as patio and large house plants. They are abundant bloomers and will often have loads of flowers from early summer thru fall, and even during winter if kept happy inside. The flowers open in the evening, sending out  a wave of intoxicatingly sweet fragrance. Their lush dark green foliage adds to the attractiveness of the Brugmansia. They can be pruned back to fit into confined spaces, and since they bloom from new growth, you can prune away without fear. They will grow back in no-time. Unfortunately they are prone to Spider Mites and White Flies. They shed leaves easily, and will often become bare and ugly if infested with bugs.
