I wanted to list my husbands Grandfathers from Grandfather to G,G,G,G,G,G, Grandfather.  Here they are:

1. 
Arthur D. Belk (b.May 25, 1925 in Mississippi. d.October  21, 1991.  He was the son of Alanzo Denson Belk and Carrie Stickland.  He married Geneva R. Rich/Belk about 1950 in Mississippi. They had 7 children.  She was born November 29, 1930 in Mississippi, and died October 6, 1993 in Meridian, Mississippi

2. 
Alonzo Denson Belk was born April 11, 1892 in Union Co., Mississippi, and died August 10, 1961 in Jackson, MS.  He was the son of Columbus Denson Belk and Frances Hillman.  He married Carrie Strickland. They had two children.

3. 
Columbus Denson Belk was born December 7, 1857 in Marion Co., Georgia, and died May 2 1932 in Mississippi.  He was the son of Amandus Perry Belk and Louisa Cathalein Story. He married Frances Hillman. They had ten children.

4. 
Amandus Perry Belk was born 1820 in South Carolina, and died September 9, 1887 in Marion Co., Georgia.  He was the son of Joseph Montgomery Dixon Belk and Margaret McCann.  He married Louisa Cathalein Story. They had twelve children.

5. 
Joseph Montgomery Dixon Belk was born Febuary 25, 1794 in South Carolina and died September 4, 1867 in Marion Co., Georgia.  He was the son of William Alexander Belk and Hannah Darling. He married Margaret McCann. They had twelve children

6. 
William Alexander Belk was born about1742 in Dobbs Co., North Caolina and died December 1814 Darlington Co., South Carolina.  He married Hannah Darling. They had nine children.

7.
William Alexander Belk Sr. was born between 1715 and 1725 in England.  He died in North Carolina.  He immigrated to North Carolina about 1730.  His spouse is unknown. 
I hope you've enjoyed this look into my husband's ancestry.  He's proud of it. I am for now, through with what I'm gonna share about my husband's ancestry. Anyway, I will have more about the civil war on additional pages later.
