| Marines & Army. Some people say the army is better, some say the Marines is better. True the Army is bigger but i dont think that is better. I think the Marines are just as good as the Army or even better. Also in the past Marines such as in WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, and the Gulf War have done excellent . One example was when the Marines invaded Iwo Jima where the famous picture of the flag raising happened. It was a battle where one of the most Medals of honor were earned. The Marine Corps has its own fighter, ground forces and Navy. The Marines are the first in and last out. But the Army did some invasions such as the invasion of Normandy also known as D-Day. The Army has a lot of famous divisions, such as the Big Red One, the 101st airborne division, 3rd Infantry Division and the 4th Infantry Division as seen below. But as long as the Military force is doing good and kicking butt I think the Army and Marines are equal. Thanks to those serving in the Military!!! |
