| WHY I CHOSE THE PUNK SCENE Growing up as a skateboarder in the late '80s and '90s I have always gone against the mass populus. Skateboarding began to get trendy and I have thus lost my taste for it. Skaters began to mainly listen to hip-hop and rap which is wrong in my book. The lifestyle was all fucked up and turned around, everyone wanted to "new age" skating by turning the good ol' Vans and Airwalks into moonshoes and other faggoty crap. All my good freinds weren't skaters anymore anyway, I had started hanging out the Gutter Punks, Street Punks and the Aryan Brotherhood. I had obviously grown weary of these so-called Skater pussies and started drinking with people who could back up thier shit talkin' tongues. This was when I grew out some liberties (for those of you who live anywhere besides Arizona, its hair shaped into "Statue of Liberty" spikes) and began to wear steel toe "skull bashin" Grinders (R).
