Because nobody knows what to do on this page, I take over. This is sort of what's going on:
Ciara Donnovan, owner of the C&S, recieved a message from her brother (Timothay), telling her he was going to get married. Ciara then began making plans to go to the wedding in Ireland.
At the same time, fan boards posted scandelous information on Darren Hayes, claiming him to be dating his assistant, Leonie Messer. Even though these were just rumors, Crystianne Morgan, his girlfriend of two years, became furious with him for two-timing her. Although the break-up wasn't really official, they did stop seeing each other.
Just before Ciara left for Ireland, two private detectives (Bram and Rylynn McTaggert) came snooping through the C&S, hoping to get financial information about Ciara. They had been hired by Timothay's fiance, but when they told Ciara what they'd been doing and summarily quit the job, she sent an agent known as "LongShanks" to finish their work.
(With Bram and Rylynn came their brother, William, and good friend, Heath Leger, who arrived to tell them that their father, Ewan McTaggert, was in the hospital. Shortly after their arrival, Ciara's childhood friend, Liam Neeson, appeared too, meeting Ciara for the first time in several years)
"Longshanks" arrived after Ciara had left for Chicago (to pick up her father, Conor), on the night that a band, A/3, was performing at the C&S. He introduced himself to Crys as Howard Kody, immidetly attracted to her. Unbeknownst to any at the concert, he was really the Mad Hatter, a member of the little-heard of Dublin Wonderland Gang, and was looking to get information concerning the Donnovans. At this concert, he kidnapped Rylynn and Liam (Rylynn had been kidnapped once before.) They joined another captive, a CIA agent named Michael Krakov.
Meanwhile, William McTaggert followed Ciara to Chicago where he introduced himself to her father as her fiance (resulting in Ciara 'accidentally' breaking his wrist). In Chigaco, immedite danger to the Donnovans was reconised by the apperance of the Dormouse, leader of the Wonderland Gang. They got away from Chicago and on the way to Ireland where they eventually arrived in Ballymena, staying at a tavern where Timothay's best friend and a demon from Ciara's past, Michael O'hara, worked.
After the concert with A/3, Heath--who had taken an interest in Crys and kissed her once--was called to go to Ireland for the filming of a gig. This took him close to where Timothay's wedding would be. He and Ciara made quick friends and found kindred spirits in one another shortly after Ciara thought herself betrayed by William (whom she had also started a tenative friendship with)
In Santa Monica, Howard began to befriend Crys. At first in the interest of gaining information from her, but then he found himself really falling for her. He continually took her out to dinner. When Darren attempted to make up with her, Howard sabotauged the meeting and comforted Crys.
The prisoners of Wonderland--Liam, Rylynn and Michael--found themself in dire straits when Howard's partner, the March Hare, violently attacked Rylynn. Severely injured, she was taken by Howard to the hospital where the Catepillar, later revealed to be Crystianne's father Raphael Forger, treated her. Shortly after this, Caleb Forger (Crys' half-brother) also appeared. He ran into Howard--who had kidnapped him some years before--at the C&S.
Shortly before that meeting, Annika Barry (an old friend of Darren's and Michael's girlfriend) began doing research on Howard after hearing Darren's story. After her disapearance, police (getting his number from Crys) called Howard to come to the station. There, while being questioned by local police, he was attacked and beaten by a CIA Agent (Levi Goldheim), who reconised him as the terrorist known as "the Hatter." Also present at this encounter were Darren and Crys; but they were made to leave the room and Darren (injuring himself on the remains of a pipe bomb on Howard's car) was taken to the hospital.
Howard was shot several times in the knee, leg and arm, but managed to escape the CIA. Caleb took him to the Catepillar, who reluctantly tended him. |
