The second son of Raphael Forger but the first to Bianca Morgan, Jonathon was born in New York City and was raised largely by his great-grandmother, who watched him while his parents worked. His great-grandmother also raised his half-brother, Caleb Forger, and he and Jonathon became good friends though he did not know of their relation for years.

His entire life, Jonathon was bent towards worshipping every member of his family. He was his mother's favorite but his father--perhaps unintentionally--was always somewhat distant from him. However, he loved both his parents as much as one could and, when his younger sister, Crystianne, was born--taking their father's affections--he adored her as well.

Bianca saw to it that her son had the best of whatever he wanted, and he was always very popular in school, intellegent and an excellent runner with a good talent in basketball. While he never had as much of his father's attention in school as he wanted, Jonathon's life was largely a pleasant dream. They lived in a huge Brownstone in New York city, were rich and his family seemed to be perfect.

Then on his sister's thirteenth birthday, his world fell in around his ears. His father was killed in a car accident that evening, and on top of that greif, his mother seemed completly uncaring. She refused to let him mourn, and his sister locked herself in her room for weeks at a time. With no one to turn to to help him out of his greif, he began spending long nights losing himself in the sounds of rap music. Unable to show how he felt to his mother and wanting to be strong for his sister, he kept all the greif bottled up inside.

His mother saw to it that he got into a good law school, despite the fact that she had wanted him to become a doctor. He did well in his classes, but his life never again acheived the same dream-like joy. Just before Crystianne's eighteenth birthday, Bianca threw her out of the house. Jonathon managed to track her down, and then together they went out to California where she wanted to go to school. They drove slowly, meandering all across the country and using up their entire summer break to do so. Jonathon swore he had never had a better time then that.

The rift between Crystianne and Bianca widened with a horrifying rate and Jonathon, who lived at home while going to law school, was hurt more then either of the two women.
