| Hiya people :-) So it's now official... I have been medically diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder. Who knew eh... LOL! I bet you all did! I scored in the 99% percentile for inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity... AGAIN not 'shocking' news to anyone who knows me... So how might you ask did I manage to get myself into 3rd bachelor programs, work 2 years as an uncertified teacher and get a college cert? Well, apparently, ADHD has nothing to do with your intellect. That, you are born with. They found that my actual IQ is unusually high. Which is pretty cool! The expert who tested me was fascinated by my results, especially since I have accomplished so much up to date with no diagnosis. There is a part of my left brain that has quite a severe deficit, which explained quite a bit...and if I werent actually ADHD, I am told that my IQ would be off the charts since the ADHD scews the results due to the deficits, which are mainly on the left side of my brain... hehe... Now I know why I failed grade 10 math twice! So ya, there is a huge piece of me up there for all to see... I've got nothing to hide. The impulsive bit made me laugh though... I know there are some of you out there, probably more on the 'male' side, who I've frustrated to NO END with my impulsivity... sorry bout that eh...? but I guess that's really just me :-) So ya, all that aside... I'm in my new house and haven't had a chance to be online so much... I'm actually visiting my parent's place now to do this update. My new number is 905-556-9733 if you'd like to get in touch! Rob and I went out for sushi tonite, our first big date since moving in :-) We also raided value village for some crazy shit to put around our house, which is all awesome shades of yellows, greens and some taupe just for the sake of it.. I think the most ignorant and unintelligent thing to assume about, or say to someone who is 'retired' or who has a 'significant period of time off', is: "Well must be nice to do nothing all day..." or "Well seeing as how you've got nothing to do all day..." What an utterly 'capitalist-blue-tory' thing to say! It just makes my blood boil. Do we all have to be 'at work' to be considered productive? Come on people, the human spirit is a little more capable don't you think?
