With it's all terrain independent suspension system, low centre of gravity and high ground clearance, it offers outstanding vehicle stability and safety for it's 3 man crew. It is very agile and manoeuverable with compact dimensions and is a very stable weapons platform. It's turbo diesel engine, with a power to weight ratio of 18 Kw per 1,000 Kgs, gives it rapid acceleration. The Mk 2 is fitted with Trelleborg 400/65 - 26.5 12 PR Tubeless tyres, with run-flat system, on 12.00 x 26.5 wheels.
The hull is of monocoque construction of high hardness armoured steel with a fire bulkhead between engine and crew compartments.
