| Canada Day celebrates the official birthday of Canada - the British Parliament passed the British North America Act on July 1, 1867, making Canada a Dominion. So this year they were 134 years old. The photos above are from celebrations which were held in Hudson, Quebec, a little town just west of the Island (and city) of Montreal. Mothers and Daughters dance together in celebration - including our Irish Dancing Jewels member Patty and her daughter! They are students of Bernadette Short's School of Irish Dance. ENJOY! |
