This CD features the music of Kevin Warren and Colm Keogh. It contains 26 Irish Dance practice tracks including 5 full traditional Set Dances. Cumann Rince Naisiunta established in 1982, CRN today spans the globe from USA to Japan including Ireland, Britain and Europe.

In this time it has become known for its friendliness, open platform and regard for tradition. This knowledge of tradition, we know, has and will always open the door to the new (contemporary). Feis musician Tony Nother has put together a range of music for Irish Step dancing. This popular CD collection features music for dancers at beginner to Open Championship level. It also contains the traditional set dances; St. Patrick's Day, The Blackbird and Garden of Daisies.

Dance 'Til Dawn

This unique CD is groundbreaking in it's style; it features an enchanting and tragic story, set to traditional music which is at once classical and romantic in style.

Dance 'Til Dawn contains music for all grades of dancer. The majority of the tracks are recorded at speeds suitable for the Intermediate and Advanced dancer, while tracks 6, 9 and 12 are primarily geared towards the Novice.

This brilliant New recording is Hot off the Press! Heartstone's music is a special blend that gives a real edge to "traditional" Irish music and they have recorded these tracks especially for dancing to.

Every track has a real LIVE feel to it with the combination of Kay Proffitts Accordion and Trish Featherstone's Fiddle creating a really intimate "Ceili" or "Feis" atmosphere. The rest of the band, with their traditional instruments really complement the overall sound, carrying you straight back to the Irish Crossroads Dance Halls of yesteryear. All the Reels and Jigs are here, as well as fast and slow Hornpipes. They've even included their versions of a selection of the most popular of the Open Set Dances, in fact everything a dancer needs!

As some of the tracks are a little fast the music is not really suitable for the absolute beginner to practice to, but you don't need to be a dancer to just listen! Anyone with any Celtic in their soul will certainly begin to feel it rising up within them as they move through the tracks on this CD. The final track is a really mystic - almost spooky - version of King of the Fairies, that carries you off into the misty mountains of old, where legends were once made.

The Culkin School official features Billy McComiskey on the box, Brendan Mulvihill on the fiddle, and Zan McLeod on the guitar and other stringed instruments. All three musicians are nationally and internationally renowned and we are honored to have them perform on our exclusive CD.

The Culkin School has produced a special CD of reels, jigs, slip jigs, single jigs, and hornpipes set at different speeds and played in precision timing using a metronome.
Apart from being a pure pleasure to listen to, it forms a key part of our student practice sessions at home.
