| Ziggy Marley came to Houston this year on his tour promoting his new album. We showed up early and made good use of the video game room that was at the venue. The dee jay was playing Bob tune after Bob tune and was pretty much making everyone fall asleep. Thankfully someone had some cd's on them and took over the sound system with some hype tunes off the Bad Company and Egyptian Riddim. The first band was terrible and not worth mentioning. Ziggy came on around 11:30 and started off slow with some tunes that bore the hell out of me. Then he got the crowd into it with some of his older tunes. The crowd really responded to Jammin and some other of his dad's tunes. Ziggy is a professinal musician and has an excellent sound live, but his music does not inspire me at all. By far the weakest of the Marley brothers I have seen. | ||||||
