Coco Tea and Capleton was a show I was anticipating for some time.  Needless to say I was not dissapointed!!  I am not going to talk about the crowd because I dont like to talk negative in my reviews.  All I will say is that it was a typical Houston Massive.  Coco Tea came onto stage around 2:30 or something like that.  First thing he said was say that  the sound system was terrible, but he was going to mash it up regardless of sub-par equipment.  This was an understatment!!!!!   Coco Tea is made
of quality and class.  This man sounded almost perfect and blew me away with his singing skills.  He started out with some covers then into some classics like "Rikers Island" "Love me Truly" and "18 and Over."  Then he brought it all together with a truly inspiring performance of "Tune In" from the "Far East" Riddim.  This is
one of my favourite riddims and Coco Tea songs.  He truly shined on this song and his performence will always bee etched in my memory.  Could have played all night, 40min was not enough!!!
Capleton came on and displayed his powerfull voice and stage presence to us all.  Sounded very clean on the mic and played some of his classic tunes mixed in with his newer releases.  "lock Up" off the "Bollywood" Riddim was great, but the accapella he did 3/4 through the set stole the show for me.  I was dissaponted that he held the
mic to the crowd for them to sing almost all his hooks!!  It would have been better if there were more than 3 people singing.  I didnt pay $30 to hear the crowd sing.  Capleton is a great artist and I will always jam his songs, but I will never pay to go see him alone at a concert!!   Big up tp the promoters for putting on a good safe show!!  Thanks to the SNWMF website for the great pictures of the two artists!!
