| This is magick which uses wonders from modern society. As I said earlier I have a wond made of styrofoam, because it protects, insulates and destroys, so I consider it a very powerful tool. What other man-made materials have revolutionized society? Plastic! Everything is plastic. Cars are plastic paneled (with styrofoam bumpers inside), radios are plastic, glasses are plastic, not glass. And plastic is a low-cost material to make, and strong, air tight, bouncy, clear, versatile. Magickal tools made from plastic are strong ones. Television! Television can be used for sort of televisio-mancy. All you have to do is sit down ask the TV a question and then flip it on. The asnwer will apear before you. This can also be done as radio-mancy but you ask a question while spinning the dial of the OFF radio, then turn it on when you are done asking and see where the dial landed. Toys! Mister Potato-Head, a Koopy (sp?) Doll and a Bowling Trophy with a female bowler make up my Disco-Pagan altar. The Koopy is the conquering child. The Mister Potato-Head is the many faced ever changing God, and the Female Bowling Trophy is the golden woman raised above all gender biases with her skill and determination. Etc! If you can find some sort of magickal symbolism in an object then dammit that is your magickal object and it is your duty and an enlightened person to use it. If you don't take advantage of the wisdom the Gods send you then they will stop sending you wisdom and you will shrivel up and be cold and sad. |
