Safety
Each time we used a tool or machine, we made sure we had all the proper protection required, such as safety glasses or hearing protection. Also, we would make sure that we followed all the safety precautions for that machine or tool, such as adjusting the guards to the correct height.

Team Work
Irene: Draw sketches, measure the sizes, sand wood, webpage
Tracy: Draw sketches, cut wood, sand woods, remake broken wood
Joyce: Cut wood, sand wood, log book, remake broken wood, webpage
Together: gather information, paint, nail, put plastic wood on the wood.

Revision Plan
One thing that we could have done better was to add glass panels to the side so the bird food won't get blown away by the wind. Another thing was that we should have cut the angles with a machine instead of using a sander so that the lines would be straighter. Also we should paint more detail on it and use water-resistant paint. A handle would've also made it to put outside.

Practical Test
A couple of days after we put up our bird houses, a few birds visited them.  Crows and a few other tiny birds came to eat birdfood.  When it rained, we could see the paint slowly washing off.  Also, we think that the smell of the varnice on the bird house were not liked by the birds.  We think that this project was a success to us but maybe not a lot of help for the birds.  It gave us more knowledge of building objects and using your brain to make your object more useful and more attractive.  We also got to learn a little bit about religious buildings (Chinese pagodas).
