I AM A GIRL

I am a girl 
Walking on a lonely path
I want to fly
Fly into the boundless sky
But I cannot as I m tied
Tied with the rules of the world
This path is divided into two
I do not know which to step onto
I want some one to help me
Someone to hold my hand
Hold my hand and help me make my choice
And thereby own a world full of piece and happiness
A world where I can fly and run. Fly and touch the sky
And where I can run with the wind and a world where I could do
Whatever I would want to..............

HOPES AND DREAMS

Hold onto your dreams,
And they will never die,
They will live on forever,
Like the star light in the sky.

What you want to be,
Is your wish,
From the truth,
Never ever shy.

Struggle on and on,
To achieve your goal.
Never lose hope and 
Never cry.

Keep praying to God,
And if your prayer fails,
Never blame Him and
Never ask why?

YOUR MEMORIES

I tried to look you in the mist,
I tried to see your glimpse in the moon,
But soon it faded away, when the clouds covered it.
Then I looked for you in the stars,
But gone were they with the first ray of light.
Then I tried to look for you in the sun,
But soon it glided away;
Thus I search for you everywhere
But futile proves my search for you.
I get depressed and angry,
I close my eyes;
Then suddenly I see you and hear your voice,
I realize; that you live in my heart,
Your memories will never die,
They will always be with me,
Till the day I die.

KEEP IN TOUCH


A Flame On The Wick,
Told The Candle Stick,
That i want to rise very high,
And touch the bright blue sky,
So just let me go, 
For you must surely know,
Those who rise above,
Do not need anybody's love,
They rise without a helping hand,
And take their own stand.
Lovingly the candle smiled,
And said, "GO AHEAD MY CHILD"
And then it pulled back the wick ,
The flame flickered on the stick,
It tried to live and relax ,
But couldn't without the wick and wax.
The flame realized its mistake,
And understood that the world is give and take.
The candle which always fed the flame, 
Put forward a simple claim,
I taught you always knew,
That i have no value without you,
And you cannot live without me,
Together we create light to see.
We spread the light in the long dark night.
So dear you can rise as much.....
But don't ever forget to ...

FOREVER

I loved you from the core of my heart,
Upon your promise of never to depart,
You never talked about leaving,
And never did I start.


But one day you left me alone,
Spreading darkness in my home,
Sitting lonely on my couch's foam,
I think about how you'll make a new home.


I believed what you said,
But you betrayed as you went,
Leaving the whispers of love behind
Whose echoes would always be there on my mind.


You forgot me but I still remember,
The joyous days we spent together,
The happy moments that we had,
I never dreamt of ever being sad.


Your absence make my eyes wet with tears,
The cherished memories with none can I share.
And now I have to spend these days like this,
Forever and Forever......
