RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provided open and cased hole petrophysical, log interpretation and computing center log analysis services to a diverse client base operating in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico and U.S. East Coast Offshore areas
  • Implemented new computer systems and evaluated new operational and evaluation procedures and software; trained log data processors and other support personnel
  • Interfaced with client company’s engineering, exploration and management personnel with respect to log interpretations, field and computing center log analysis quality
  • ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Acquired proficiency in conventional well log interpretation and computed analysis products, e.g. VOLAN and SARABAND and Dipmeter
  • Assigned as computing center’s primary cased hole applications analyst, e.g. TDT, Cased Reservoir Analysis, NODAL-IPR-PRODUCIBILITY and time lapse reservoir monitoring analysis using pulsed neutron logging
  • Attended Technology of Artificial Lift Methods school conducted by Kermit Brown

  • Provided well logging, borehole seismic and perforating services for assigned clients operating Offshore U.S.A. East Coast, clients primarily were Exxon U.S.A., Texaco and Connoco
  • ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Established new operations district in Davisville, Rhode Island, U.S.A. with $3 to $5 MM/Mo. revenues
  • Wrote well evaluation paper that improved operational and reservoir evaluation procedures; created $20,000/month additional revenues and provided more reliable exploration well decisions
  • PROJECTS/ACTIVITIES 1978 - 1980

  • Provided field operational services from spud to abandonment on numerous well projects for major clients in a remote operating environment
  • Created a functional district in a relatively remote location with respect to its division headquarters
