  I would like to respond

I'm a physician in the US witnessed the first gulf war in Iraq, when we cheered for the bombs hoping to get rid of Saddam, to our biggest disappointment we came to realize that real goal in the
war was the Iraqi people and the neighbors, it was about ruining the infra structure of the country with a significant civilian loss. It was a great business deal for the US and it still is. I challenge
you to find a single act that Saddam has done that was not in the best interest of the US economy until this moment (one single act)....

Saddam has been there man for the last 40 some years and still is (this is not a delusion believe me. I know people that went to college with him in Cairo late 50's when he was a frequent visitor
to US embassy with a big fat salary and a new car. Everything he's done to our country was good for them including two monster wars and  a systematic destruction of the society and it's morals,  this the last chapter in the movie were he's suppose to give them the license to kill, invade and occupy the country to take over the largest oil reserve in the world and to transfer six million Palestenions to Iraq (it could only be done under foreign occupation, just like the scenario when Israel was born under the protection of the British occupation). I don't think this is an elusion. Henry kesinger has said that "the road to the middle east piece goes through Baghdad"
this guy do not through words for no reason!!! and a simple look at the map will tell you that the only country that could take the Palestinians is ours. a simple look at how fast the Palestinians
are growing compared to there rival tells you that the current situation could last for a long time and the only way for Israel to exist is to get rid of them completely

You say in your e mail that the Iraqi people now are given a real hope .....I really wonder what is the evidence of real hope in your mind??? Please don't say that it's the US words, that means absolutely nothing. I remind you of Bushes (father) speech that he gave to the Iraqi people before the first war (rebel against Saddam and we'll support you. yes right the moment they did the Americans helped Saddam slaughter them . we ended up loosing more life's after the
war than during the war (and please don't say it was a mistake It made total sense economy wise to leave a small threat in the area to keep milking the gulf countries and the American economy went
sky high and now it's time for round two, and pays the price ... our people.

A simple review of history explains to you that not a single time a super power wanted to engulf a rich country and said overtly that this was the real reason behind it there has to be some noble cove
like "liberating the Iraqi people"  A simple look at the history of the region will explain to you how
many time the super powers stuck to there words after they get what they want( first world war , Sharif Hussain).
I would like you to bring me one evidence (not words) to make me believe what they claim holds any water.....  I think our problem is that we're so desperate to get rid of devil that we are willing to accept his master as an alternative....

If they wanted to get rid of Saddam it would have happened long time a go they could even tried him as a war criminal, they don't need to kill half a million life's and occupy the country to do it

I loudly wonder why the US is worried about the people of Iraq now after the let them drown for so many years..... I wonder why out of a sudden Saddam became a threat after 20 years of supplying him
with weapons of mass destruction by the US. Look at the US economy it's not doing too well. same thing happened 1990, It's time for a new war , anew business deal to destroy and rebuild countries
and make people pay for both to boost the economy.

And lastly from history a gain. That's the exact same pattern every single super power in history followed "concur the weak and rich first and care less about there life's or fate".

I also disagree with the notion that most of the Iraqi people support the invasion, I wonder if this is your own sense or based on some objective evidence.
This is not about the upper moral ground believe me. it's a bout the worse doom that could ever happen and mark my words Rania .  I respect your opinion, but I deeply disagree with it.
I wish you the best, and feel free to e mail me with any response or thoughts
