Echoes From The Past                                                        Home

One of our objectives is to keep the youth of Iran well informed of the recent history of our country.  Due to the undemocratic society established since 1979, the new generation in Iran has very limited access to facts and figures regarding Irans achievements in the 1960s & 70s.

The two decades witnessed the transformation of our country from a weak and fragile economy to one of the fastest growing in the world.  To establish this, we refer to Western - mainly American and British - media and retrace the articles and reports appeared in their newspapers and magazines in that era.

We shall begin this journey with one of the happiest days in our history - the October 26th, 1967 and end it on December 1977.

We would like to remind you once again, that any informative articles seen on the net, can be forwarded to us, but do include the source of your topic to enable us to honour the copy right laws and hence to publish it.
