Dennis Falcon

Ipswich's associaion with the Dennis Falcon started in 1983 with the purchase of six vehicles with East Lancs bodywork to replace ageing AEC Swifts. Eight more were bought in 1986, all but one having Northern Counties bodywork. A further 11 arrived with East Lancs bodywork in 1988/89, before new saloon purchases switched to DAF and Lance chassis.

A further 5 were purchased from Chesterfield in 1990, mainly for Suffolkbus services, but were replaced by Bristol B21s in 1994.
