Erin Blackthorn was the one thing he wanted that he could not have. It drove him to funnel more and more of his funds into this single minded desire. With the failure of CodeRed in season 5, foiled by The Watcher in the end. His approach shifted to the one closest to her than anyone else, Oichi Murai.
His rewards were everything she desired. Her refusal equally would cost her everything she held dear. The fate of Anjyl, Oichi's own family, and even Erin of Blackthorn placed on the scales of life for her to weigh. Life or death, prosper or decay, find or hide. She made a deal with Gaiden, and a deal with herself... sealed with the life of herself and the others most important.
He repaired Anjyl's battered knees, bringing the code into her body. He poured riches upon Oichi's brother, employed within Gaiden industries... all that had been agreed upon. But then... one final reward or was it design? Gaiden insisted the Samurai Hime be coded... a request she did not argue with the once. The deal was already signed... she had no more fight left against him... or so it would seem.
The code raced through her body as well. The woman always the slight of the frame and build... was the restructured and reformed to rejoin her "sister" of The Code, Anjyl.
