| Infernal's hot hand closes over Oichi's.
I don't deserve you. Nothing I have done merits this friendship. Oichi, I hurt the ones I love. I can't share my heart or trust. I should chase you away, but I find I can't do that either. I look forward to hearing your voice and seeing your face even though I know we will part badly...we must part badly. I want my dream to end. I want my dreamer to finally awaken, gasping in a cold sweat, with my existence fading from their mind even before they knew I was ever there. That is the matter I want your help with. The matter that may make a difference. |

| *She listens, still resting her head on Infernal's back. Oichi shakes her head no, and quite selfishly... thinking only of her own feelings, speaks*
"I... will not... have you fade... or go." *Her grip on Infernal's shoulders tightens slightly* |

| Infernal: R.I.P?
The first manager, friend, even a piece of Oichi's dear heart. Infernal played many roles in the life of Oichi. On the surface, a very odd combination: the often spoken about fire and water. To some Infernal was the essence of evil, a tortuous being with a pendant for dangerous wagers. Oichi seemed, to many, the opposite of all that Infernal was. But somewhere, somehow they were deeply, deeply intertwined and were ever since Oichi's arrival. From the "trials of the Chessmaster"... through the longest losing streak on record... to the very land of death itself. Infernal and Oichi travelled together through it all... to the most bitter end. The first apparition did fall... Infernal did find the oblivion she had long desired, with the help of Oichi's hand and blade. It came to pass deep underground. Three women met Jamestown, and only one walked away. Oichi buried Infernal in her most precious garden. Oichi buried Infernal in her most precious heart. The story it did the ending... It did the end... didn't it? A question... I do think... |
