first download ipod wizard and iupdate (i found that ihack didnt work for hacking the sysinfo file)
then download the ipod update file from the apple website
next load iPod Updater 2005-02-22 (i found that iPod Updater 2005-02-07 did not work)
next load firmware version 7.2.5
now your ready to edit the pictures on your ipod after you have edited the pictures and loaded them into the wizard edit the text
the default text on the mini 2nd gen is Epsy Sans 10 index # 31 now load the text you want to use
next hit write to confirm the changes to the firmware
then you will have to run iupdate select mini and find the sysinfo file its under ipod control\device
then you will need to run the iPod Updater 2005-02-22 and hit update
