4. There are 6 offers in particular that I have used and know. The
Ancestry.com offer, the Stamps.com offer, the Blockbuster.com offer,
the INFONE offer, the Video Professor offer, and the AOL Broadband
offer.
I signed up for the Stamps.com trial, which is a 2 week trial. You get
$5 in postage free and you can cancel anytime before the trial is
over. It gives you instant credit for the iPod offer instead of having
to wait a couple of days for the processing to go through.
The Ancestry.com trial is also a 2 week trial and gives you instant credit.
INFONE is a great one because they dont charge anything, nothing even
an authorization fee (the dollar) and you never have to cancel it but
you can, since its a pay as you go service they will never charge if
you never use their service. (This offer is instant)
Blockbuster (because they only charge one dollar and you can cancel it
the next day, and they will refund the dollar after a week or so.
Video Professor, this works the same as Blockbuster but requires a
little more work to cancel it. You order it and they charge a dollar,
but to avoid getting it shipped and being charged $6.95 you have to
call them to cancel the order before it ships out so they can just
void it. (This offer its Instant)
AOL, you can try it out for 45 days or you can cancel it early. AOL
takes 2-4 business days to give you credit.
5. Once you have completed signing up for one of the offers, it may
take up to 3 days for you to receive credit for signing up. The great
thing about the Stamps and Ancestry offers is that they give
you credit immediately. You can then call their customer service up
and cancel and be done with the whole thing in less than 10 minutes.
With AOL, you have to wait a couple of days for them to give you
credit for completing the offer.
NOTE: If for some reason you never saw the page which asks you to
select which offer you want to try, you can go to the Check Status
page after logging in, and you will see a link that says "click here
to complete an offer" and that will take you to the page. If
you've already completed an offer, that link will still exist there
until Gratis gets updated that you completed it.
6. Once you have logged in, click on the "Refer Your Friends" link at
the top and copy the referrer link mentioned at the bottom of the
page. That is your referral link that you need to point your friends
to. It's probably preferrable to send a direct e-mail to your friends
instead of using the Gratis built in friend notifier where you
enter in 5 friends addresses. This way you can include these
instructions and help them understand a bit better what it's all
about. Otherwise, you can enter fake email addresses and post an add
on a message board for others to sign up.
7. Sit back and wait. Once 5 people that you referred have completed
an offer, Gratis will verify that they are unique and valid
referrals. If they check out (and they should if you haven't tried to
cheat the system) your status on the site will show "Congratulations!
We have approved your account and referrals. You may now order your
totally FREE flat screen or PC". You will verify your shipping information,
and in a short time, it will arrive at your door!

high profile companies. AOL, GM, Real, etc. do not advertise with
every scammer on the block, since it would be bad for business.
The company that runs FreeFlatscreens is Gratis Internet.
They have several email addresses and phone/fax numbers on
their site, which is professionally done. I think this is worth 15
minutes of your time. They have been registered with the BBB for
several years.
The economics behind the system make sense.
