A BRIEF HISTORY OF MY CROSSLEY
1924-1993 I have no information yet on the early history of my car. The engine and chassis numbers suggest it was a 1924 model or thereabouts. It had an Australian body. At some stage it was turned into a ute, with the rear bodywork behind the driver's seat cut off. The wheels were also cut down to take smaller tyres.
1993-2000 Hugh Lindsay found the car in a sale at Mangalore, Victoria. He brought the car back to McGregor's Swamp, where he began to dismantle what was left of the bodywork and treat the rust. He also cleaned off some of the caked-on mud.
