Trial Standards




      All scenarios will be posted prior to trial date.

      There will always be a courage test and call off (IPDL "A").

      Trials will be opened to both the civilian team as well the active
      service k9 team.

      There will be no unsportsman like conduct.

      Safety will always be of the highest priority.


 There will be awards handed out to the following teams at each trial:
Awarded by the Judges


(IPDL "A")

       1) Top points team ( highest total score average in both protection and
           obedience)
       2) Top handler trained award ( highest total score average in both protection
           and obedience . handler must have trained k9 from scratch!)
       3) Top protection scoring team ( highest scoring team in protection)
       4) Top obedience scoring team ( highest scoring team in obedience)

Awarded by the Decoys

      1) pronounced k9 award ( given to k9 that showed most tenacity and
            strength in bite work)



It is possible for a team to take home, more than one award!

Changes may be made at any time by the I.P.D.L.  with out prior notice.
