SPECIAL NOTICE

On behalf of the Igamers Pinochle Club we wish to let you all know that Labor
Day will be the last marathon and/or tournament that the Igamers Pinochle Club
will be hosting.

As you all know this club has been in existence since 1996 and due to
the owners lack of interest in our needs with the game of pinochle; we,
as a Committee, have no choice but to disolve the Club. This was not
an easy decision.

We have had many great times and have made many special friends. There
are other gaming sites out there that offer so much more than Igames
AND we cannot compete with that. Most of the players have gone to a
site called Mystic and some still play at Iplay.

Some of the Committee members already have nicks at Mystic and Iplay.

The Igamers website will be kept up, so periodically, please check it
because we will be holding special "friends" tournaments on special
occassions..the time, location and date will be posted. Swanny has
offered to keep us updated.

I would like to thank all the hosts that have given so much of their
time throughout the years... momh, debh, jake, Sad1, {^-.-^}~~~, TRAMP,

A special thank you to Swanny, Tramp, shortnsweet, johnph and rut row
for all their hard work they did with keeping up with the Igamers Web
Pages.. I know how much work is involved with it and just need you to
know that the players relied on it very much.

Evening Star.. what can I say. For many months you held this club
together with your Hosting and pushing to keep things together. Your
energy and persistence kept us together this past year. It did not go
unnoticed.

There is one more person I need to thank, for without him I would not
even know the game of pinochle. Sly.. thanks so much for the patience
you had teaching me this game..

Luliz, lexxy50 and Gambling Jim and all those who have played in the
tournaments and have passed away will always be in our hearts no matter
where we play.

Most of all we want to thank all the players, for without YOU, we would
not have lasted as long as we have. You are all super people and I hope
that we can all still meet and play together.
