In a message from LuLiz dated October 16, 2002, he wrote the following to us:

"As an afterthought . . . If you ever see a penny laying on the ground . . . . pick it up . . . . 'cause it will be a reminder from me that I saw you . . . .Feel free to call 'em "PENNIES FROM HEAVEN" . . . . or if you ever see a Monarch Butterfly flying around . . . that will be Me in disguise . . . keeping an eye on you."

"I love you all, remember that, and I will have my friends, son and daughters in Heaven help me to ease all your tribulations on earth.

Oh butterfly,
you are so magnificent
as you gently soar
high above the earth
connected only
by gravity's invisible pull.

You bring joy and happiness
to all who know you,
You add beauty to the flowers
and trees where ever you go,
You make the world complete!

free to float with the breeze
high above the trees
absorbing the beauty
and wonder of all below.

free to land
on a child's outstretched hand,

to linger for awhile
and feel the gentle warmness
of the sun on your body.

free to excite
the fish below the surface
as you dart left and right,
only inches above a southern pond.

While you soar
on fresh breezes out of sight,

and wonders of new ponds,
