| WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO FARM!>!?>!?! WHY!!!! |

| (1) The Storm Peaks Storm Peaks [with the exception of Terokkar Forest (pre-WotLK)] is by far the best farming area in World of Warcraft. I only say this because you can farm a vast variety of things. From Herbing - Lichbloom, Icethorn, Frost Lotus, and Crystalized Life, to Farming - Crystalized Fire, Air, and Earth. It also sports easy daily quests that average 13g a piece. (2) Icecrown I am truely not a fan of this area simply because of the 10,000 80 and above elites that roam the area. While some are easy to kill, even as a squishie, they are still a great annoyance. Icecrown makes for a nice area to farm frostcloth, which still sells for more than 1g a piece. The best place for this would be Sindragosa's Fall. It is a nice full-of-mobs area that has a good spawn rate. If you are an herbalist you can farm these and simply pick the same herb nodes over and over. The Frostbrood Spawns in the area appear to drop an alchemist recipe and a leatherworking pattern. However, the only thing that can be confirmed is a enchanting formula of arcane resistance to cloak by +20 (which I farmed). There are also 4 other resistance to cloak formulas farmable in Icecrown. When it comes to herbing you'll just be looting Icethorn and Lichbloom. The only problem to that is there are usually 4-6 mobs around 1 herb and it also requires placement of landing when you don't want to pull anything and if you do pull a mob, upon defeating it, there is a chance it won't drop a single thing. |
| (3) Wintergrasp While it is not a steady place for herbing, due to "random" frozen herbs, there are regular herb nodes as well as a few frost lotus nodes. Wintergrasp is ideal for elemental farming, with the exception only being crystalized life. Having control of Wintergrasp makes special elemental mobs ("revenant") appear which have a 100% drop rate of the current element that you are farming. While they aren't abundant it's still nice to have them there. The regular elementals have less hp and are easier to kill, but drop the crystalized item at a much lesser rate. There always seems to people a lot of people farming the fire elementals when it's not the best place in the expansion to farm them. |
