The following is an un-dated statement from Hewlett-Packard: "The iPAQ Wireless Expansion Pack provides a unique wireless solution for iPAQ Pocket PC products. It is based on the iPAQ Expansion Pack system and is designed to work on the H3xxx series of iPAQ Pocket PC’s utilizing the Pocket PC 2000 and Pocket PC 2002 operating systems. At this time the Wireless Expansion Pack is at the end of its lifecycle and as a result platforms after the 3xxx series will not support the Wireless Expansion Pack. In addition to new iPAQ Pocket PC products, there are operating system upgrades for the existing H3xxx products in the market that upgrade from Pocket PC 2002 to Windows Mobile 2003. In this case HP will support only the Pocket PC 2000 and Pocket PC 2002 operating systems on the 3000 series products. HP will not continue to invest in future enhancements to the Wireless Expansion Pack to support upgrades to Windows Mobile 2003 or to provide support for the H5450. HP’s wireless development efforts will focus on future converged wireless platforms and we will focus our resources on launching a new iPAQ product with integrated voice and data capability. For all products we will honor our existing support and warranty terms, which include a 1 year standard warranty and a 3 year support life after product discontinuance."
