Dayv is the amazing drummer, lead singer, and keyboardist of Ipacak. He has been playing the drums for over ten years. Dayv plays a kit with too many cymbals to count, two hi-hat's, a cowbell, a tambourine, two bass drums, five toms, and a timbale. Also, he owns a Mike Portnoy signiture snare drum. mmmmmmmmmm....
The new set up for the new album is: Tama Rockstar 5 piece with a Yamaha double bass drum pedal. He had to cut out the timbale/cowbell/second high-hats and he added in a nice keyboard to his left side.
Before he played drums, however, he played the cello for a year and took piano lessons for a few years at least.
Now, he again is taking piano lessons, voice lessons, and is learning to play the guitar.
