GENERAL VEHICLE RULES
1.) Drivers are required to wear a D.O.T. approved helmet during competition. Helmet must be left in place until our of the pit, including pullback. Violators will be disqualified for that pull.

2.) Points go to the driver and the truck he or she has registered for season points. Driver may rebuild a destroyed vehicle and enter in the next race with the same vehicle name.

3.) Tech rules committee members have the right to disqualify or suspend drivers at their discretion for violations of any rules.

4.)  Protest must be in writing within 15 minutes from end of class affected.

5.)  A $20.00 charge for protest goes to the Club if unfounded.

6.)  Vehicle is allowed to run a Maximum of three classes and may be entered twice in a class with a different driver.

7.)  Once a vehicle pulls to the line that constitutes a run. There are no scratches or refunds at this point.
8.)  All vehicles must have solid safe front and rear tow points. No ball hook ups.

9.)  A clevis must be furnished by competitor and in place at time of tech.

10.) No discourtesy to any official.

11.) No fighting!!! May be grounds for disqualification for remainder of season

12.) Judges decision is final. Any other ruling must come from a formal protest, IN WRITING,  by a registered driver in that class and must be submitted to the rules committee (board members) of UORRA within 15 minutes of the last truck in that class running. Any questions or arguments after this time will not be allowed. You can only protest the class in which you run. No payback or trophies will be given in such class until the dispute is settled.

13.) Driver has 3 minutes to get to the starting line when their number is called. If driver is unable to make it to the starting line within the  allowed 3 minutes, due to mechanical failures only, they will be allowed to drop back one spot, ONE TIME ONLY.
Exception: When vehicles run consecutively  vehicle is allowed 5 minutes for driver change, if consecutive runs cannot be avoided, at decision of tech officials.

14.) No tire chains allowed.

15.) Race officials reserve the right to qualify or disqualify any vehicle on the basis of its safety  features at the tech inspection.

16.) Once a vehicle trips the timing lights, the race is over. Even if the rear wheels then hit a stake, at that point the race is already over. If manual timers are used the front hub will be used as a measure.

17.) You must be able to stop at the end of the mud hole. Reasonable distance is by official decision. Anyone passing that point will be disqualified.

18.) Do not tow cable out of the mud hole if you have completed the pit. Cable tow out mat be a cause for disqualification.  

19.) Vehicle must be in neutral when being towed back through the pit. Absolutely no use of brakes. Helmets must remain in place during pullback. Violators will be disqualified.

20.) Any loose articles falling out of the vehicle and into the mud hole during a run will result in disqualification, except fixed mechanical parts which cannot be anticipated.

21.) NO REFUNDS after class has started. NO REFUNDS if you are disqualified.

22.) Obey the flag man!!! When hooking up cable, VEHICLE MUST BE IN NEUTRAL AND HANDS MUST BE OFF THE STEERING WHEEL, IN THE AIR.

23.) All vehicles must be pulled from the mud hole from the rear if stuck before reaching finish line. Officials may approve towing from the front in the event of breakage.

24.) All tires must have factory size stamping. If stamping not present or ground off, vehicle will be moved to the modified class. This is considered a modification.

25.) In all classes if cable hook up is refused and the pass is not completed, the driver of the vehicle is responsible for having the cable hooked up to the vehicle  in 3 minutes. If it is not done within 3 minutes the pass will be disqualified. Pit crew is responsible for the hook up, not officials

26.) Registration is 3 hours before event unless otherwise noted, but must be completed 1 hour before start of race.

27.) Classes will run in the following order, POSTED DAY OF EVENT

28.) Late registrations or tech qualifications will pay an additional $10.00 per entry, per class late fee.

29.) Driver   entered on time and teched on time that drew first run will get rerun option.

30.) Drivers must notify officials immediately following their run if they desire a rerun option.

31.) Drivers are required to be sober�

32.) NO passengers when vehicle is racing.
