| OK here is the info you need. June 18th-20th 2004 Raccoon River Van Meter, Iowa. Cost is $45/person non-member, $40 member, $80/couple non-members, $75 member couples. The event is easy to find and if you've never been there before or never been to Iowa here it is. I have given you 2 maps to find this place. |

| Coming from the Omaha/Nebraska area going east on I-80. Go east as if going to Des Moines. Look for exit 113. This is (Van Meter) Get off at this exit and take a left(north for you rural folks) and go 1.7 miles. It is the 1st numbered road on the left hand side. There will be signs and colors for you to see the road you need to turn on. From the east/Des Moines/Illinois Go west of Des Moines approx. 20 miles on I-80 to the Van Meter exit, #113. Take a right, (still north for you rural folks) Go 1.7 miles and you will see the same thing signs and colors to find your way. From the south Kansas/Missouri. If you come up I-29 north to Omaha and then go I-80 east, follow the directions as if coming from Omaha. If you come up I-35 north from Kansas City to I-80 get on I-80 West and follow the rules as if coming from Des Moines. From the north coming down I-35 south to I-80 west, do the same thing as if coming from Des Moines. If from South Dakota or Northwest Iowa, either get to I-80 anywhere west of Des Moines, or get a map, and find Adel, Iowa and come south on the paved road. This camp site is approx. 5-7 miles south of Adel, Iowa and will be the (Last numbered road) on your right hand side before the interstate. The maps will help. |
| The address for the Road you are hunting for is 324th Way. We will have signs and colors out for you to see. If not and get lost in the area here is the phone number for the cabin itself. 1-515-996-2829. Or the cabins owner can be reached in Des Moines at 515-279-7312. PS. If you do happen to find yourself in Van Meter, at the Caseys (first thing you see) just ask them to direct you to the Raccoon River Resort. They know the way, as we give them alot of business. |
