Iota Epsilon Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was chartered as an Undergraduate chapter on March 30, 1973, 50 years exactly after Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was incorporated. The members purpose is in alignment with the national focus to foster the ideals of service, charity, scholarship, civic and cultural endeavors, sisterly love, and Finer Womanhood.


Iota Epsilon Chapter has been involved in a multitude of activities over more than 20 years to support the vision and focus of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., as well as, that of the University of Dayton Greek Affairs office. Such activities  include: working with new students in the orientation process, sponsoring �chat�

sessions on topic of interest to both females and males on the campus leisure activities as skating parties, bowling parties, dances, etc. volunteering on campus, as well as, off-campus with organizations that support academic progress for youth,  participation in marches: March of Dimes; Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.; M S telethon, United Negro College Fund Drive, and many more.


The Chapter has received numerous awards for not only the volunteer and philanthropies activities, but also for their top academic achievements.


Iota Epsilon Chapter welcomes any female college student interested in continuing the vision of encouraging the highest standards of scholarship through scientific, literary, cultural and educational programs; promote service projects on the campus of the University of Dayton and in the community; foster sisterhood; and exemplify the ideals of Finer Womanhood.
