GENERAL INFO
My name is Clairssa Renee Goosby. I am from Cincinnati, OHio. I am the oldest of three children. I have one sister and one brother. I've lived in several different places such as North Carolina and South Carolina because my father was a Marine. I am very close with my family, especially my mother and grandmother. They are my support system and have made me into the finerwoman that I am today.
WHY I JOINED
When decideing to join a sorority, I began to look at all the pros and cons. I was not sure about which organization was right for me. I went to several web sites describing the different black sororities, what their focus was and their history. Zeta Phi Beta stood out among the ones I observed. I felt drawn to this organization. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. displayed many positive accomplishments that I felt I wanted to be involved with and apart of. The four principles of sisterhood, scholarship, service and finerwomanhood were issues that I considered to be very important to become a successful woman. If I had to pick four themes to focus a sorority around, these would be the ones I would choose. When I heard these four principles, I felt a sense of structure and organization within the sorority. I like order and structure in my life. This is one of the reasons why I wanted to be apart of Zeta Phi Beta. Zeta Phi Beta is organized and has a plan of action about what they want to accomplish.
THE IMPACT ZETA HAS HAD ON MY LIFE
From joining this organiztion, I will be able to provide a life long commitment of service to the community. I have also found the greatest friendships that I will ever have in my life. I am very proud to call these women my sorors. |
